How to block IP in a wordpress blog

Hi,
I need to block some visitors IP address. I already searched for a WordPress plugin, but no suitable plugin found. Please suggest me, how to block ip to protect visitor's access to my blog.

Thanks, your plugin is great to block the spammers ip. Tt may block ip if someone's comment is marked as spam. But I need manual IP block.

Im already using the method deluxedon suggested, it just works perfect. Try it.

 

You can add (and delete) IP addresses manually.
There is also a backup function.

i mean, should i record one by one ip, or you have sugestion like in adding ip - browse, i don't have file that record ip spam list

 

The plugin does not provide any predefined list of IP addresses, you must collect them for yourself by marking comments as spam. It is better than using a huge list of IP addresses that cannot be useful because you need to ban only those spammers who visit your blog. Besides, if you would have a huge list of IPs, it would slow down your blog.

If you are doing a small amount Lester Chans "Ban" works fine. I believe he goes by "gamerz" on WordPress. It's free. It hasn't been updated in awhile but it still works.

My preference is to use country block and just block the entire group with an .htacess file. But the Ban plugin is much easier.

 

There is a lot of verity of plugins in the wordpress from where you can not even block the ip you can make the spamer categories.....like; http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/spammer-blocker
