Hi there, I am a newbie just started using Maxbounty in my new site. I am wondering how you guys think about this company. Anyone here got a check from that before? What is the percentage of reversals from the merchant? Is it "legal" to re-designed the "creatives" provided by them on a web site? (say, use only the affiliate link from there and use different wordings or pics) As a newbie, I am very pleased to make a few bucks with this program (EPC from them is even higher than adsense on my site), but at the same time I am wondering if they are as reliable as Adsense (I shouldn't waste my ad space if they don't pay me, right?) Thx
They pay but the conversions at least for me have not been great. They do not allow you to change the wording on the ad campaigns or the images and you cannot use frames to to show them in or to send emails out. Hope this helps.
I also joined Maxbounty few days back, so far no lead/sale. What about EPC in their campaigns?? I thought I will get some cash for clicks as well but still my reports show no earning although I have got few handy clicks. I read some good articles about them so i think they are reliable, you don’t need to worry about it.
For me conversions are great and so is there support they just started paying net 15 with electronic transfer so it is great! They do allow iframes and you can change wording etc.. but you must get approval first. The best part of maxbounty is if you have an offer you would like to promote they will get it for you.
Thx for the reply. Where and how can I get get their approval? and how do you know if your picture is approved or not (email you? or is it shown on the panel?)?
Login into your maxbounty account and you will see on the right hand side your affiliate rep name and contact. You can write to him/her asking this info.
MaxBounty only pays per lead/sale. The EPC figure you mention is only a statistic. It shows you how well others are doing with the offer.
Hi all. It is correct that without permission, you cannot alter the creatives or load campaign landing URLs within frames. Simply provide your affiliate manager with an example of the change/frame, and we'll discuss with the merchant and seek approval on your behalf. Well that's good because we don't have many UK campaigns. The majority of our campaigns are for American surfers, with a small but growing a number of Canada-centric offers too (particularly Canadian surveys).
MaxBounty seems to care a lot about whether your leads are US or non-US. I would like to create an incentive campaign, but how do I make sure I only pay incentive to US traffic? Should I look at the IP-numbers or do I have to wait for the MaxBounty report if I want to be 100% sure?
Jameskon.... you're right then. We do not have much UK traffic to speak of. Mads... not sure what you're asking. If you means as advertiser yourself, we can set your campaign to block foreign IP Addresses.
