I just installed Firefox 4 and it's the biggest upgrade in ages.

It's got a whole new look. I like it!

What do you guys think about it?

    :D

Just got 4.0.1 today? I've had it for the last couple days after a reboot of my complete system but I do say it is a drastic change but for the good since now it seems easier to use / work on web site creation etc..

I'm not a fan. I keep opening links in new windows and not tabs as I am used to - I think they switched positions on the window that opens when you right click. Also, I'm not seeing a RSS icon for pages that have feeds, or am I missing something?

    Yes...

    I don't like it much.

I don't like that we can't easily see and return via the history, by clicking on the back-down arrow.
It seems bloated and demands more memory than ever, especially the stinkin' "plugin container".

    I need a nap. I'm grumpy.[IMG]

I dislike the new theme they released... It is to "blah"

    I installed the FireFox 3 theme for FF4 :)

It does seem a *bit* faster than FF3.

It seems that Firefox 4 does not save tabs!?

However you can manually go in and force it to.

    about:config > browser.showQuitWarning > Set to 'True'

Took me a while to get gmail working, almost deleted FF4 again, then found out that you have to clean the whole history!

Was hoping it to be lighter/faster. The change it ok, just have to get used to where things have moved.

LOL, to all of you who say tabs, where are my prcious tabs, what joke. I upgraded the day it was officially released, and my tabs were still exactly where I wanted them, none of that grouping nonsense.
I believe that you should all install these add-ons to enjoy FF a whole lot more, they changed my life since FF2, to think people still don't know of them?
    All-in-One Sidebar
    DownloadHelper
    Flagfox
    Save File to
    Tab Mix Plus
    Web Developer

Though I too was hoping it would be lighter and faster, I still feel it's improved greatly over FF3. So install at least the sidebar and tabmix and then tell me you still don't like it and you have to get used to where things have moved to, though maybe I don't have problems because I look and learn and therefore customise FF to suit what I need it to do. Hence open programming!
Oh yeah, all those addons are well worth it.....well worth it....

I like the new firefox, I held off for a while because the add ons use weren't compatible at first. BUt now they are I didn't see any reason not to upgrade.

I dont use any of the add ons listed above, I jsut use

    chatzilla
    newtabhomepage
    fireftp
    firebug

They are all i need and good enough for me

Seriously bro, if you're into web development and what not, flagfox is cool to know where the site is hosted at, helps expand general knowledge.
But tab mix plus for newtabhomepage
    or
    firebug for greasemonkey/webdeveloper,
but what about all in one sidebar? That
s easy as anything to access everything you do.
