Well prob is the geocities sites are gone, I think yahoo stopped that service right? I am getting a lot of link errors due to that.
Yes, Jim sounds like he's on top of it. Thank you for your loyal volunteer service to the project. I'm sure you've helped a lot of great sites get exposure.
For your kind informations, no-one goes to DMOZ to find a site and then browse it. If a person knows about DMOZ then he knows about that particular site also for which he is looking for. The fact of DMOZ is HIGH PR back links, no more value DMOZ carries than backlinks. Stop your Xrumer works you crap seo.
Thank you for your kind input. I do know that DMOZ provides high page rank backlinks. Would that not help sites get exposure? Also, I refuse to believe no one uses one of the biggest and most popular directories on the internet as a directory. I'm going to have to go with photofox and this and ask how you are so confident about its usage.
Do you have? Commenting on few words are not enough. Even a noobs too know how a find an website and DMOZ is not the answer. Do you have any site listed in DMOZ? If so, just look your Analytics for the refered sites. You will find DMOZ in nowhere. I have few for more than 4/5 years. The maximum lead to one of them from DMOZ is 6 in last 4 years. And its the visit of DMOZ Editors itself.
Sorry it can take our volunteers from a few days to a few years to review for a possible listing. DMOZ editors are just indulging their hobby.
