I think America is the best nation in the world because it was founded by people who believed in freedom, liberty and suspicion of the establishment.

Like all countries, though, it has slowly decayed since its founding. Decadence is rife and the connection We The People had with the founders has disappeared. Nowadays, apart from the very few states left, like Vermont, New Hampshire and North Dakota, that attempt to stay faithful to the Bill of Rights and the rest of the Constitution, it is indistinguishable from the rest of the vast majority of the world, which are tyrannies of 'good intentions'.

I don't know why foreigners like to bash America when countries such as my own bully the rest of the world just as much.

For those who claim America is one of the most unintelligent nations on earth, I'd bet the population here is more so. At least (proper) Americans have enough self respect to want to defend themselves. Here the state will 'look after' you. Such a deplorable idea it is to want to protect one's own life! Fear is master in a nation of slaves.

I'm an Englishman and would like to do as we did several hundred years ago - free state project here I come!

Do you think it's a uniquely American trait to abuse power?

No its a trait for everybody that has it. Naturally the more you have the more you abuse it. Just look at the most rich and powerful and prosperous and "democratic" nation in the world drop 100.000-s of bombs on small defenseless countries and you will see what I'm talking about.

The 100.000s of bombs is not quite true...they drop much more.

To claim america does not abuse its power is just trolling LOL

Like you've said above your post something has decayed with their ideology. The last couple of decades till the present were all about vested interests.

its not the bombs that do the real damage but its something americans understand...its close to the heart they are afraid of them and this has the best chance of reaching their brainwashed minds...if i were to talk about the real economy and life destroyers like their decades of economic sanctions and political pressure they simply would not understand....

the brain wash is very very strong in the USA and you have to take small steps and give them time to think and repeat and repeat and eventual they get it :)

I don't think political pressure or anything does ore damage as much as thier bombs have done. I mean , come on, Us bombed Laos for 9 years everyday like hell, did the same in afghanistan and Iraq. Don't you think these bombs would have done more destruction than pressuring countries to do this and do that.

absolutely not...the bombs are nothing when compared to economic terrorism...nothing...shit i wish it was only the bombs life would be so much easier...

decades of economic sanctions cripple the whole country for millions of people....you cant export or import, your funds abroad are either seized or frozen, you cant import petrol and you dont produce it, you cant import medication ect ect...when this happens business comes to a stop!...inflation goes through the roof...and soon you cant buy food...not that there is any food to buy or any money to buy it with...millions of people are left to slowly starve

Its the handful of people in the US wall street government who seal the fate of millions of people world wide over their wall street interests and paranoia...when a bomb falls you can rebuild just like americans do...but when you have no money and no job and no future like millions of victims of US foreign affairs then the bombs are the least of your problems...

for example just my country was under sanctions for 20 years and I dont see us recovering in the next 20...everything that was worth a shit is now in the hands of US butt kissers and foreign corporations closely tied to wall street interests...sure a small country like mine means nothing to the vast US economy but for private US corporations and their buttyboys the billions are a hefty pay check...

after the sanctions and wars when they finally install a puppet government then your troubles are just beginning...the new government does as wall street tells them and you are basically fucked until you throw down the bastards and then you have the US monkey on your back again....

the bombs are truly nothing...but americans notice when you talk about them...at one time the USA had more people under economic sanctions than it has citizens living in the USA! how "democratic" eh

I agree but i don't think bombs are just nothing as compared to them. Lehman brother was responsible for the last depression and i don't like wall street too but you see bombs take lives completely instead of making it difficult :) so i guess yes bombs are not that bad.

BTW, which country are you from.

the deaths caused indirectly by sanctions are far worse...you cant compare the financial crisis to economic sanctions...lehman brothers is like a firecracker compared to a newclear bomb that lasts 20 years...

the USA did not even come close to complete collapse...not even close...imagine total collapse...no banks they dont work + the currency is not worth shit, no petrol there is NONE to be sold at the gas stations= no transport, nothing to buy in shops save for local produce + no money to buy it with, prices changing daily 2x because of inflation + shop owners closing shops (like i closed 6 of mine) because the money will be worthless in the morning and the banks wont change it to hard currency because they will be left with worthless paper ect ect...

now try running a business and feeding your family and having a life under these conditions long term...its like opening a sand shop in the sahara...nothing worth to sell and nobody to buy from you...

and worst of all NO FUTURE...this is what kills the most...you can think about the USA what ever you want i KNOW about the USA this is the difference...to know that the bullshit is just beginning and that you will never be free until you are nuclear....may sound stupid but people who are dying from cancer or some other terminal disease know what its like to have no future...

in comparison a US bomb is just a merciful death and a second in time...god i wish it was just the bombs...

you asked where im from... the former yugoslavia...

No offense but it looks like you hate economic sanctions because you have lived in it. Us will not do this to all countries but to those which it will profit by doing this. Of course Us can't do this to every nation. If us really dislikes the small nations then it will drop bombs straight away. As for bombs just take the case of Laos.

    1. The bombs were dropped every single day for 9 years no matter if it was christmas or anything.

    2. The bombs were not dropped on suspected or less populated land, on any place be it a temple school or anything.

    3. The number of bombs dropped were more than the total bombs dropped in WW2.

    4. Taking the total population consideration the bomb dropped per single person was around 1 ton.

    5. The Us invested more than 9 million dollar ( Present value ) everyday for 9 years in dropping bombs.

    6. One third of the bombs did not explode and they still are find in Laos and when children or anyone wonders what it is they explode taking lives.

This event is known to very less people and Laos people still do not hate the Americans and treat American tourists in a great way.

So you see this is a case of a single nation. There are plenty of nations who have suffered this. Economic sanctions may be a bad thing but its is not totally the fault of US. Imagine people complaining that google sandboxed their websites and they went broke or something. I am not against you but bombs are just plain wrong and worse than economic sanctions.

LOL. The premise of this entire thread is your hatred of Americans... but FTR... Popotalk admited today he's in Maryland, USA...
And oddly Misato and Buratssky appear to share not only his politics, but also his keyboard. See IP matches here...
You can thank Obamanation for the IP catch.

So How bout it Popo / Misato / Buratssky?
Care to tell us why you spew hatred about Americans while pretending not to be one... or better, explain why you have three accounts at one chair?
