Every year google slightly changes its seo algorithm but I don't think that there will be some major changes.
I think the future of seo is very bright. but strategies will be changed slowly. Only social networking sites, social bookmarking sites and videos etc will be focussed. And I see many changings are awaited that the site will be optimized two way. first on web browser basis and second on mobile basis.
