Hi, I have a blog about tech and it gets ~4K UV in a month (and it's growing). I think such traffic is worth a bit more than up to 2$ a day. At the moment I'm using adsense ads, placed on the sidebar, in the content and below the content. What else could I use to monetize it better?
Find or create complementary products that you can sell on your website, ie pack your site info into an eBook or instructional videos that you can sell and/ or check out clickbank or other affiliate sites.
Yeah there are few other ways of monetizing you tech blogs...You can try pixazza image ads if you have images in your site...Good thing about Pixazza is its also owned by google and they minimum payout is oly $10 so you will get paid every month... surely
I would get rid of the adsense ads and place them with affiliate products. What would you prefer making $1.00 per month or $25.00 per sale. Having the adsense ads on your webpage will keep your income low. To find good quality products to promote you should check out clickbank, paydotcom, commission juction.
You've got a serious leakage issue if you're only making $2 a day with over 4,000 people coming to your site. Get rid of ScamSense and start channeling traffic through in post affiliate links. That way they can only leave by going through an affiliate link or exiting the page.
Ok, I need to add affiliate to my site. Is there anything good that pays out via paypal? Cheques aren't really convenient to cash out. By the way, traffic is steadily rising and now is at 500UV/day and it earns ~2-5 euros a day. I just registered to clickbank and paydotcom, but both of them pretty much don't have any to my niche related products to promote.
Thanks for your responses. I tried using Amazon affiliate, but they banned me due to copyrighted word in the URL. I haven't tried eBay though, they require company details, which I don't have (could it be I just clicked the wrong buttons?)
take a look at ad-captain DOT com it will be designed to reward sites like yours with plenty of viewers
CJ looks great, they have lots of relevant products, but I am non US resident, and they have a mess with tax forms there. I hesitate to use their services. Yesterday I got approved to infolinks. 329 impressions, 26 clicks, 1.83$ in earnings. Clicks and impressions seem right, but earnings seem to be a bit low.
