Who is going to win the world series?

I believe the Detriot Tigers will win the 2006 World Series. Why? They have good young pitching and a very good manager in Jim Leyland.

Bonderman, Valender, Zuyma and Rondey, all throw 94+ mph.

Detroit, Cinderalla story. Were 75 to 1 shot of winning by Vegas at beginning, but they are in and will beat most likely the mets because the tigers have defense, pitching, and offense from veterans and yougnsters alike.

Since my beloved Twins are gone, I'm backing detroit. But remember, no matter who wins, the Twins will still be the best team in baseball.

Awesome, a fellow Twins fan :D (Can't believe we got swept)

But I think the Tigers are going to win it, they have sweet pitching but the Cardinals looked pretty good last night.

The sad thing about the Lions vs. Raiders is that someone would have to win. If it was at the end of the season at least they could call the Heisman Bowl.

I just saw the end of the game and shut off the TV. Eckstein was the only candidate for this Tigers fan. I thought my local team was foolish for letting him go (I also felt they were foolish for calling themself the Los Angeles Anaheims of Angels or whatever). He's a great little player that's easy to cheer for whoever he plays for.

Congrats to another team with great tradition.
