Ok its really difficult to post as ferquently as you want in ur blogs. What I want to do is to post all content at once and it will keep on getting published say after 2 days each. I checked WP forum and they said that you can do this by putting "publish" in status but keeping dates of future, which didn't worked for me. They also talked about cron but it seems it too didn't worked.

Can someone tell me what exactly is the procedure :) Will be really thankful to you

    Regards

Set the timestamp for when you want the post to be published.

That's what I tried to do but doesn't seems to be working. Has anyone of you have used it successfully ? for me the post was getting published at that time only. What plugins do I need ?

    Thanks

I click on the edit timestamp checkbox and then change the date and the post only shows up in manage and is not displayed on the main page until the date comes. are you sure you checked the box and hit publish?

If you don't tick the "Edit Timestamp" box, then it will have no effect. You must tick the box when changing the timestamp.

Probably you've added too many sites on your 'ping list'.
Opinion->Writing->Update Services ..Try to remove some sites from the list.

WordPress sends a ping whenever you save or publish a post, so even if you publish a future post, a ping will be sent, only thing your readers will not see the post.

There are a couple of plugins out there that delay the ping - some require cron job... i haven't tried any to be frank... google for wordpress future pings and you'll get some.
