Seems like you too have been punished by Google Panda.

Check again your traffic source from Search engines in your analytics report, if it shows the negative change in traffic from S.E, it most probably means you are penalized in Google Search engine.

I posted about this in this thread here

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2166164

basically google deindexed a lot of sites, and they are coming back on their own. some of them are, anyway.

i think you just need to be patient and not panic... your blog will probably come back. just keep adding content as usual.

If google deindexed your because of bad backlinks, every website would be out there posting bad backlinks to there competition. its not that.

Yeah, it wouldn't be that. Did you get a small amount of traffic from the SERPs when your Alexa rank was at it's best? It's possible your bounce rate was too high, or time spent on site was too low and google de-indexed you based on relevancy/authority in that niche... I have had this happen a handful of times. I wouldn't guess that you've been sandboxed because you are still in the SERPs, you are just losing traction.

Where are you checking your indexed page- in Google search or in webmaster tool?
Are your UV are increasing from Search engine or from other sources?

It might have been affected by new Google updates. Read official Google webmaster blog for all updates.

Give it some time it may come back other than that there's not much you can do.

Signup with Google webmaster tools, and try to contact Google support. Most probably you are penalized by google for using wrong/black hat tactics.

    1. Submit your sitemap to Google
    2. Get quality backlinks for your website
    3. Check for any duplicate content.. this can be one big reason for drop in indexed pages
    4. Do not rely on Alexa traffic rank... check your traffic from Google webmaster tool
