    Recently i tried to add canara bank visa debit card to paypal and it worked to me.
    so people who dont have credit card try to add canara visa debit card and any "Visa" logo on your debit card.

    You can add Debit card to your Paypal account but you cannot send money from Debit card.You will need a Credit Card to send money :(

    News is not wrong. Actually there are few debit cards which work with PayPal in India and you could even use to send money from them. :)

    So if we have money in the bank account, we can use these debit cards to send money with paypal.right?

    Good for people having canara bank accounts. HDFC and ICICI debit cards do not work for paypal.

    Guys there are debit cards with visa or master card and which have cvv2 code these will work and i think these can be used to send money too

    well a user has got his INDIAN BANK mastercard debit card working on paypal i am trying to get bank of baroda debit card soon will update if it works
