Announcing Global Internet Index - A One time Place to get listed

This is not the Grand announcement of the Global Internet Index because i will announce it again after the page rank update
This is the only directory which i have promoted a lot and i have got it listed in almost all the top web directories.
If you think if i have not listed it in any top webdirectory please suggest it and i will get it listed there too.

Links Purchased till now : 2550$ [which is till date and many listings are on monthly subscriptions so this is going to be a huge investment and i want to reinvest everything i get via Listing]

Still the promotion of the directory is going on and Couple of Original Articles also submitted, which can also be found via the backlinks in a couple of days which also includes the Press Release.

Template and Design:
Design is a free template used because i searched a lot and didnt get a good template which would make people say 'wow' so i think is the directory is strong thats enough and design can be changed anytime.

Listing Fees:
We have decided to keep the Listing Fees at :
Featured links $50
Regular links $25
Regular links with reciprocal $20
and each listing will be reviewed and moved to the most relevant category.

Categories and Submission Criteria:
The categories are not the normal categories found but is a collection of niche categories.If you dont find any category let me know and it will be added up instantly.

No Top Level Links are allowed and your listing will be automatically moved to the most relevant category with a couple more authority websites if available.

Add a Quality Title and description which is original and not just a 4-5 word description.Non Quality Websites will not be listed and will be rejected and Listing fees will be refunded back.

All the funds recieved will be invested back in promotion of the webdirectory by buying links smartly[as told by a good friend - Dont buy links from everywhere just buy links smartly and i dont want to explain the way he told me to buy links but in short buy links which can help your website]

Nice directory and template Great to see directory with aggressive promotions! 1 of my directories is already listed there http://www.gii.in/Web_Directories/Paid_Web_Directories/ And submited DirArchive.com to the same category.

I would suggest you to decrease the number of links on home page, as u have placed so many categories (links) on home page, it will make home page of site clean and it will be good for SEO point of view as well!

I don't agree with that, I think he has it right, especially paying to remove the script, and template links.

The problem with so many directories now is the amount of outbound sidewides which is lowering the weighting of every page, not internal pages to categories.

Yes, there is no doubt, outgoing links lower the value of directory, but a web page with more than hundreds of links either internal or external altogether, is considered as Spamming.

It should have a PR 7 for sure looking at the BL's ... Dont forget to vary the anchor text

Sorry i completely disagree with that ...

Many of the top sites in each firld have more than 100 links on their home pages. It depends a lot on the quality of the site and the backlinks pointing to it. A site with a heavy backing of BL's can even have 200 + links (internal + external) and will still not be counted as spam.


If you have any evidence in support of what you said please let us know... will like to be corrected if i am wrong.

 

I am not such an SEO expert, just shared my knowledge, i read it while passing by some SEO forums, forgot the URL of that forum, it was mentioned as SEO tips there. I will surely provide an evidence if it comes true after proceeding with my research.

 

yep have to agree on this with subodh. I think google flxes alot for quality sites. I also have serius doubts about not following more than 100 backlinks theory in a page(strictly).

 

The name is Vaibhav ... and yes the many famous sites have more than 100 outgoing links ( www.yahoo.com, http://forums.digitalpoint.com all have more than 100 links on the home page)

Thanks for your comments and suggestions, currently we have 0 Outbound links and all the links are pointing to the internal Categories and Content Articles Pages.

I guess External links effect the webpage but the internal pages dont effect much.Still Considering your point.

Yep, iam working on the same steps and buying links on authority sites and also listing them too.

Also waiting for more suggestions and Comments on the Web Resource.
