I just installed SEO on my Site and still not getting any trafiic. Please guys if you have any sugeestions. My site is www.dealshell.com
I don't understand what you mean by "I installed SEO", it doesn't make any sense. I also have doubts that you can do on-page SEO on a forum. The only way to get traffic is to build external links. Don't worry if your site does not appear yet in the SERPs, it's not surprising, from the Whois I deduce that it's just one month old... Build links from reputable sites, and traffic will slowly increase.
Thats very good advice and the route I would take. You could try creating a facebook fan page and use a site like fiverr.com to get fans fast and help spread the word about site
I absolutely, totally and completely disagree with this. I have built sites with absolutely no links and had them appear in the top 10 of SERPs within a week (and I'm not talking about appearing for spurious keywords). Now if you could install SEO I (and many others) would be out of a job! I think you may have been sold a duff solution, "install this, it does all your seo my son, trust me - my dad's a doctor". Sorry to say it's not that easy.
You cant just install a SEO plug-in and expect to be done with SEO. Your never done with SEO. Everytime you add content to your site that is SEO. You also need to build lots of quality backlinks. SEO takes lots of time and hard work to get good traffic from search engines.
So have I, my son, but not for competitive keywords. In the event of medium to high competition there is no way you can get a lot of traffic and rank high in the SERPs without a significant number of incoming links. And you need to either have submitted your site to the search engines or have at least 1 link, or the SEs would have never found you...
Content will do the talking when it comes to getting traffic. Update your site with fresh and good quality content. Make it more interesting but make sure that the relevancy is still there. And spread it all over the internet through link building. In this way, you can catch the attention of your visitors.
You mean, you installed some automated tool for driving traffic? Anyways, you forum seems to be new. As maximum of your threads are unanswered... which means your forum is not engaging audience. - Promote your forum on other forums - Make your threads informative, invite people for discussions, appreciate their responses... Make it interactive by any means. - Promote your blog posts on blogging communities and try to expand your audience base Another alternative, Tell your friends, relatives and colleagues to participate in forum and make it interactive.
You should make sure that your on-site keywording is sound too. Good anchor text will mean nothing if you don't have the right keywords on your site. Also if you are in a saturated niche it will be very hard to see many results.
