How much money do you need to quit working?

If I start earning $5k each month consistently then I might reconsider leaving my job.
But I won't stop working because then the money will stop coming.

However if I won $1 billion I might stop working.

 

In my opinion, I won't stop working even if I earn one million dollars... If I like my job I think I have no reason to stop

 

Yeh I was thinking the same thing.
I might not work as hard as I did earlier, but I would still work since I like doing Internet Marketing and so on.

 

Hard to say, who knows where inflation will go in future... I mean, it's possible that $10m could be chewed up pretty fast and you'd go from rags to riches. Depending on where you are of course.

But, 200k a year in cash for the next 60 years or so would be nice

 

I'd quit my day job if i had at least $1 million USD!

 

What about in 10-20 years time? Get another job? :|

I'd never quit working. I'd do something just to never get bored.

 

I may need 1 Million dollars monthly income.
But for real I know this is impossible for me.

 

I need 10,000 $ passive a month and I am a happy man.
