Hey Northwallace, I took a look at your site and I like some of your poetry. I quite like the one "I ate the little one.", while it isn't haiku, it evoked similar feelings to it. Have you tried writing haiku before?

On a completely different subject, would you be able to write an article about tree surgery?

I don't think that this kind of thing is as crazy as others are making out. You are obviously a creative person, and like most creative people you have an urge to use that talent. Just that rather than writing fiction for a local writing group, you are writing short pieces for greedy capitalists .

If nothing else, I think that you have made the day of most of the people on this thread.

I would be happy to write a piece about tree surgery, it sounds fun. I'll probably get to it around Wednesday.

 

I guess we all have to start from somewhere and your move shows guts. I like it. One piece of advice: Ask for some testimonials as well from those who take advantage of your offer. They might prove useful later on.

And one other thing: Please don't brand yourself as a copywriter, you're a content writer. Copy is written to persuade, content is written to inform. It's a distinction that matters... for me anyway.

Other than that, I wish you the best of luck. I have a feeling that you'll fare much better than those charging 1 dollar per article, in the long run I mean.

I'll write whatever anyone wants me to write, whether they call it copy, or content (or fiction). Persuasive or educational, i'll write both, it really doesn't matter to me.

Content boss there are way better programs than auto blogging systems out there. Why not have Northwallace write you an article and then spin the shit out of it and make 50 unique new ones? There are plenty of programs out there with that capability.

In fact... NW want to write an article about the rapid advancement of technology that has taken place since the advent of the cellphone? Let me know.

Great thread, you should add a link to it in your signature and start charging for some articles. You can use this as a review thread and ask people to comment - there's no need to work for free What are your usual rates anyway? I would be happy to pay for a product review article and can link back to this page for you or a website if you have one?

It's good to see someone with a passion for writing out there - most people I work with hate writing and will do anything to avoid it: article/spinning software etc. Just make sure you don't end up starving while you do other people a good turn. Good writing should be rewarded!
