Is there any other solution for this

    Hey friends,

    I just started a new adsense account last couple of weeks and now generated around $25. The adsense system asked me to update the payment information, so I did all the necessary changes. However I realized that my payee first name is in English and I dont have any legal documents for proof for that name, so I need to change my Payee name to my chinese name. But the rules of adsense are saying that I cannot change my payee name, only because I am from China.

    Now the solution, adsense is giving to me is close this account and start a new account with a new Payee name. Is there any other solution to this problem ? Need some experts advice :)

    Is it possible you append your English name to your bank account? I am not sure about the Banking rules in the PRC but maybe you could ask them, and of course you would have to do it in person.

    No that is not possible, because most of the Chinese people have their English names only for interacting with foreigners. I dont have any legal documents on my English name, instead all my school, college, driving license, bank info are in my chinese name only.

    No honey, I just have one account on my English (first) name and chinese (last) name, which is ....... Zhang

    I would try to add your name in your bank account as mentioned above. Otherwise you will probably have to close that account and apply again.

    well, if you read the OP's post, then you would have noticed that she already did.

    @OP, if thats what adsense is saying, then thats the solution you have and adsense would not do it any other way. however, if you somehow can deposit the check to your bank account and cash it, then thats all you need. you should talk to your bank as it must be a common issue there and they might have a solution to that.

    If its a small amount banks usually don't care much, but if its a lot more and its frequent, they will most likely refuse to cash it.

    I remember 2 years ago when i had the same problem my adsense account was on my father's name and i wanted them to change it to my name i contacted adsense support via email and they allowed me to change it once..! Please note that my method of payment was western union..!
