You are still not getting it are you?

You know, it does amaze me that this completely stupid, baffling, befuddling, bumbling, idiot bufoon, "BUSH" is called dumb by every liberal on the planet. I find it completely ironic that he is able to control gas prices, plan 9/11, and do all these other amazing things that libs give him credit for.

Is that not just a little strange? Just a tintsy weentsy bit? Anyone... Anyone, ???
    Bueller,

Its easy to plan 9/11, fix oil prices, fool the country. Its the small stuff: pronouncing words, speaking a sentence without "uhhh", and not acting like a chimp that's hard.

Aside from the fact you will not follow a link and understand the joke here.

You make an intersting point, none the less.

Liberals blame Bush for both, rising and falling gas prices, neither of which can he control, unless he for instance did any one or all of the following?

    1. Released national reserves to US consumption (of course it would take around 6 months for this to have positive affect and the reduction in costs would be minimal at best)
    2. Introduced legislation to congress enacting drilling in Alaskan wastelands (thus producing more of our own oil) Would have a positive affect on the stock market almost immediately, savings to the consumer would be years down the road)
    3. Asked OPEC to step up production, (in conjunction with other nations)

In each case it would take quite some time for the positivie affects of a rise or decrease in oil prices to hit the American consumer. Speculation might be quick to see it, but in the wallet of the American driver, it would be impossible to time such an event with a mid-term election.

I used to think liberals just drink too much. Now I know their problem is, they think too much. Some of the loony things I hear out of moonbats makes me think there must be places in the US where acid and other mind altering drugs are really legal.

I don't get the original poster. It's our constitution. Have you read it before? There's just a tad more than the Bill of Rights, which is the first 10 of 27 amendments.

Most people who complain about it, or make the claim that it is being violated have never even read it. Sadly, that includes many in congress. The odd thing about that is, EVERY congressmen is required to carry a copy of it with them at all times. Next time you meet your congressmen, ask to see that copy.

You can say that again. Most people (without looking it up) can't tell you how many articles there are, how many amendments there are, what the N & P clause is, where the war powers act is, what article deals with the executive branch, and so on.

You would think that the entire constitution was the first and second amendments. :D

It's more fun to make a claim out of ignorance and make someone else prove it wrong later.

After all, once an accusastion is made, its pretty hard to erase it whether it was right or wrong!

Ignorance rules the day in our country. But, when you have over half the country that doesn't understand even the basics of how our country was founded and works, that's to be expected.

    It's a talking points society.
