Ok guys, I'm going to start a user generated content site using wordpress. Please suggest me a wordpress plugin. Here are the features i need. Registration/Login User content submit form upon login. User can post the content. A moderator have to approve the content. Once published disable the edit option for user. A point system. In the user content form i need the following. Title Desc Q and A form (question, Answer) Below that i need one option button ( + Add another Q and A) When they click that button another form have to show below. I think this is what i need as of now. Guys please suggest some plugins for these. i'm sure i can't get a plugin with all these options. So give me some ideas. Suggest me some plugins even if only some of the mentioned feature available. Thanks
Dear friend, Why dont you try using Buddypress instead of wordpress? Buddypress is a plugin for the multiuser version of wordpress called as Wordpress MU. it has similar features to what you have said. regards Josh
There is a theme for questions and answers. It is a premium one... but I am not sure of the name. I ll try to find it, though.
Why not just allow all users to register and give them Contributor privileges so they can add articles? Then you can just link to the login page on your blog so they can upload the articles. You will still need to moderate the articles submitted.
Yes thats what i done so far. I used register plus redux plugin for user registeration/login. But the problem is i don't want default "Add new post" form. I want to customize it. I want to use jquery there. Please refer this page to understand what i need. http://sroucheray.org/blog/jquery-dynamic-form/
Okay I guess you are talking about submitting content from the front end without going to the ugly Dashboard. Two good plugins i know that could do the work are: TDO mini forms Gravity forms. Also WP - Email plugins by lester gives you an option to add posts via emails. Cheers Josh
I'm using the "User Submitted Posts" plugin to allow users to submit wallpapers. wallpaperblogger.com/wallpapers/submit-wallpaper The plugin also uses shortcode, which is how i'm using it at the moment.
