Filefactory have started May promo called 'May Madness' which include a free IPad 2 for all who make highest downloads in any day of May, plus they have increased download rates for USA traffic up to $25 for this whole month. The bad thing is that your rewards is deactivated automatically and you need to manually enable the 'May Madness' promo button (another name for 'activate rewards') in the account settings to avail this offer also till you enable, no rewards is there as filefactory have deactivated your rewards without your permission. Yeah.... 3,000+ d/l sounds unbelievably high. At present, I stand at Rank #12. Wish they head 2nd, 3rd or 4th place prizes.
Today 'Download Statistics' count is almost 1/3rd of real count (by looking on last downloaded file page), which have resulted in 1/3rd drop in earnings. Have anyone noticed this in their account ?
Can you confirm this: All files uploaded before April 1, 2011 no longer get rewards forever? If so that is BULLSHIT. OR All files uploaded before April 1, 2011 just dont get rewards on the "new rates"? But still earn from the "old rates" and after the May promo everything goes back to normal with the old rates on ALL FILES?
Saw this on rules page. Which means all uploads made before 1st April 2011 is not eligible for 'pay per download' even after May 2011. This is so weird filefactory i didn't thought you were so greed for money. You should remember without affiliates there will be no sales as no one will upload on filefactory and there will be no contents for premium members to download, the result is no re-bills too. Hope you take back this decision quickly before all affiliates leave from your network.
On last December you reduced the rates heavily, now you say you will not give anything. I'll wait for 1 or 2 weeks, if there is no change I'll delete all as you don't know how much time & effort it takes to upload to your sever hard disk's..
Yeah mentioned it before you did. This is the 2nd time they did this. First was 8 months ago in SEptember 2010. Now April 2011. Whens the next one? December 2011 all files upload before dont get payed? That is complete BULL. You might as well just take down Filefactory and all its files and start a new company and call it FileFactory 2.0 with slightly different rates. Cuz thats what you are doing. Look I get most of my $$$ from commissions but this still is complete and utterly bogus man. This is just your way of clearing up space. Only reason I stayed on FF the first time you screwed me is cuz of the torrent uploader. Since then Ive seen 6 more filehosters that offer such upload option. I wont hesitate to switch if your just gonna delete my files every 8 months.
Ya on September 2010 they said no rewards for files uploaded before September 2010. on November last week they reduced the download rates to more than half. also changed the file tier entirely even to existing files. The file tier is really crap 5 MB - 75 MB - 125 MB - 300 MB in order that users will not host on other file hosts. Also country tiers too changed removing UK, Canada to Class B etc Now on May they saying no rewards at all for all the files uploaded before April 2011. I am sure in a couple of months they will say no download rewards at all, but still you get 20% sales commission
