guys tell me what do I do.. Im working about 14-16 hours per day, Im addicted to work. I use mouse. because of that now when ever I start working; I feel my wrist tired after 5 minutes and it remains until I leave the working. :S I think trackpad could be another option , on that one just requires to move finger. tell me if you have any suggestion
Use something like this: http://www.staples.com/Staples-Mouse-Pad-with-Gel-Wrist-Rest-Black/product_652595
Touch ones will be bad as you will have to sit very close to it. And all time raise your hand to do anything. Better to take a wireless mouse and keyboard and go sit somewhere else and do work.
It takes some practice, but with time you can learn to use both hands. It might be your only option if you cannot reduce your workload- you don't want to get carpal tunnel syndrome & need surgery
But OP having problem in his wrist due to more use of mouse.. So it doesn't make any difference using wiremouse or wireless mouse. DON.
Yes it does. A wired mouse has to be used with straight hand and by reaching it on the PC table. While a wireless can be used from anywhere. Like bringing it on your chair and using it by keeping it on your body. Or if you got a bed in room go to bed sleep there and work with ease. And they can be used in any way you feel you will be comfortable and also they are not at all costly.
Wear a brace, use some kind of support under your wrist, take frequest breaks, and stretch out and move your hand and wrist. You may also want to cut back your hours on the computer if that's possible.
That is the best idea, i am doing this also, because i am also working 12-14 hours a day, and feel pain while moving the mouse. But i also want to know about the fingers, some times i feel that my index finger freeze when i do a lot of work, and i have to massage it for sometime to maintain the blood flow properly, is there any way to cure that as well.
Learn to use both hands. Takes a bit of getting used to but once you get it, does not really slow you down much. Click less! Learn to use short cuts, switch windows to being on click rather than double click to open files etc. It is surprising how far you can get without having to use the mouse. Turn up the sensitivity of the mouse so that you don't have to move it as far. On your lunch break walk away from the desk.
get a extended mouse mat that way you will be able to move your arm around the table, also get a gaming mouse you wont need to move your mouse at all.
