I always get a kick out of the 18 year old technical students that frequent this forum in between class... You're funny.

Yeah. Someone doesn't like our foreign policy, so that justifies bombing soft targets like embassies and office buildings.
You know what, I don't like who the Lions picked up in the draft, but I'm not going to bomb the stadium while there's a little league tournament going on (or at all). If I have something to say about it, I'm going to go DIRECTLY to the people that I have a problem with and express my opinion...I'm not going to run the guy's wife down with my car.

This practice of targeting people who are removed from the issue or have no idea what any of it is about is cowardly and to try and use a religion to justify opposition to foreign policy, is even more insane.

The bottom line is, people's objections and opinions to the foreign policies of a country or the way a company does business is an INSANE justification for killing people. Who are you to say that your opinion is correct? How come my opinion isn't correct? Or someone else's?

In retrospect, its kinda a good thing our FP changed to include things like Water Boarding, Military Tribunals and Sunny Vacation spots in the South of Florida...

Ironic that our FP direction post 08 was moving towards closing GTMO, ending the tribunals and wb. Good thing we stayed the course.

Relax, I didn't condone 9/11, I'm just saying why it happened, just in case some didn't know. I know it's stupid to take out innocents, but it could have been avoided, by simply not getting involved in the middle east.

And it seems a lot of people think that they were attacked because they had freedom, which is quit frankly depressing.

And if it was me, I'd pack my bags and get the hell out of the middle east, before another terrorist attack takes place, but you are different you enjoy spending trillions and wasting human lives to maintain your useless foreign policy.

    Guess who is really misinformed.

You're dreaming if you think a bearded rabble can blackmail the US. If y'all really feel that's the only way to stop terrorism... keep supplying the targets and we'll keep supplying the cure. Regardless of how fast idiots can reproduce, we can manufacture munitions faster.

The former poster boy for terrorist invincibility knows that now. If others want to join him, it isn't bright, but it's where that road leads.

It was a question, designed to get people to find out why America was targeted. There was a reason. And if you care about human lives, you don't ignore a terrorist that is threatening you, it's better to listen to him and see if you can reach an agreement. Or you can play hero, and lose thousands of lives and trillions of dollars.

That is very wrong idea. Terrorism shouldn't be tolerated, regardless who they are, from where they are.

You think terrorists will just go away by bombing them?

What I'm saying is that we cannot ignore what's the cause of terrorism.

We shouldn't tolerate Terorism regardless what is the cause. Thats my point.

But Terrorism & Revolution have differences. :)

Terrorism is to create domination. And Revolution is to liberate from domination.

What Laden did wasn't revolution. He could have find a revolutionary way, but he choose the Path of Terrorism for the name of baseless Jihad.

That was the great mistake of Laden. He had all, but had no brain.

You still don't get it. I'm not telling you to tolerate terrorism. I'm saying don't ignore its cause. In this case the cause for 9/11 was US foreign policy, and to continue with the same attitude towards the middle east is asking for more terrorism.

    Again wrong concept.

How Laden taught the Jihadis??? Isn't it like: Sacrifice yourself for Allah...

Why he didn't teach the Jihadis: Sacrifice yourself for good of people ?

You are wrong in here too.

The correct should be: Do English is your first language? :)
