i need good pdf app to watermark a lot of pdf docs in my phd. project. before i have used many apps. recently i used parmispdf DEMO. but it adds its watermark in demo. would you please tell me it worth to buy it? or is there any thing cheaper ?

You can use the OCR software for converting pdf file. I use that and I think it is easy.

it is very powerful and easy to use.
if i cant find it for free then i will think about buying it. i need it for my phd project for making/editing/watermarking my documents.

There are lots of pdf to word onverters in the web.. try to search for it in Google. I use cute pdf.

 

You don't tell us the precise file status so I think the answer will not be as efficient as you want.
There are two kinds of PDF files. One type of PDF is created from scanner or images and the rest is another type.
The former one, it's more difficult to edit as far as I am concerned. You can make a limit edition of it in Photoshop or graphic redactor program like that. And if it's totally a text file, you need to use OCR program to extract text from it but the performance may not so perfect.
For the later one, in another word, the type which you can highlight the words and copy. A professional pdf converter can convert pdf to editable word even the file is encrypted to edit, it will save your effort to modify layout and retype from scratch.

using a pdf to word converter, directly copy and paste will definitely wreck the formatting.
I don't know the detailed status of your file and I assume is not a image-based file, if so you only can use OCR program to extract text from it.
You can convert pdf to editable Word with a good pdf converter which will even deal with encrypted file whilst preserve the content as original. Good luck
