Best way to make a squeeze/landing page?

Hi, I am looking to make my first landing page. I have a product to promote, a domain name, and hosting. I have never made one before, and i was wondering if you al can recommend the best way to go about doing so.

Are there good free programs or software, or possible good templates out there. I have no programming skills at all, so take that into consideration. Should I use a wordpress theme or what? Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

I would suggest using Wordpress if you're a newbie. You could also look for some free HTML squeeze page templates. If you have a few bucks to spend you can checkout themeforest.com for some nice looking themes.

 

Html or Wordpress, it does not really matter. Here's a guide for creating the actual page.

 

Awesome post! I have a question. I would like to do it on Wordpress, how do you recommend creating it on Wordpress though? Like use a template from somewhere? or how else would I do this. Again i have zero programming skills

 

I used a theme that I modified to look very similar to the example. I have to see whether I still have it and let you know.

 

For about 20 bucks this can all be outsources. Or you can do it manually. Hosting and domain will still cost you money, but you ca pick up some free templates for blogger and use a mail script.

There are tons of Squeeze Pages software available nowadays, but I prefer using the software of speedsqueezepages.com. It's very easy to use. You don't need to have any programming skills to do this. For best marketing results, you should sign up with a designing company, because they know how to make a web site and market your product on web better than you. So, obviously their resultant will attract your users more and help you getting more business.

I can advise to use Google Analytics. When you create campaign, you may indicate landing page.

 

The very simplest way to do it, is just get a html editor, and do your stuff. They are very easy.

Do a simple captivating headline.Maybe an ecover of ur product...and a visible opt-in form.
and save your page and upload it.

I've gotten very high opt-in rates with a very simple squeeze page, so it doesn't have to be all fancy and stuff.
