What are the methods to build more backlinks in google?

I have very low backlinks in google compared to yahoo. Is there any methods to increase more backlinks in google?

It is good to mix up the type of backlinks though, so writing a few articles and submitting them to article databases that allow do follow links is another good way. You can also submit your website to different directories so it can get indexed in Google through the website directory. In my experience it is better to allow Google to "discover" your site as opposed to submitting it to Google manually. Good luck in the Google game.

The first list that you will see is the URLs in your website that have been crawled by Yahoo, click for the InLinks. You can see the number beside it denotes the number of backlinks in your website.
