Hi, I want to share some experiences mate, How would you start SEO on your newly launched site??? I think initially after completion on page SEO we should take start from social so that pages can be indexed and the gradually apply Directory Submission, Press Release, Forums etc. How do you perceive it???
Yes I would do that as you say initially. But be careful not to overdo it with back links if it is a very new site. If you have some good high PR backlinks in a day or so then you may get taken to the first page of Goolge straight away only to be sent back to page 50 something just as fast. Grow the back links naturally. I usually purchase the domains set them and age them for a while ( sometimes for months ) but that's me. Just do it slowly at first then you can go hammer and tongs at it.
Hammer it with everything you've got from the day one. The key is to keep doing it consistently (link velocity). If you hammer and all over the sudden stop, you will drop a lot but will come back in a few months.
there is a french site la loi scellier bbc that I need to bring into Google first pages. it's lanched a few monthes ago. is it real?
You have to strat from bottom level to top level seo activity. Like on page 1) site analysis 2) heading tag 3) keyword analysis 4) alt images 5) short url and so on 6) sitemap.xml 7) robots.txt After that Off page seo Like 1) Directory Submission 2) Social book Marking 3) Press Release 4) Forums etc. Thanks petoptions
Yes, I would suggest until site is in Google's sandbox we should just update content and do some social, so that pages keep indexed. After that when your site came out from the sand box you can apply all these methods. Am I right??? If I am wrong please let me know more and tell me the exact way. Regards, Zeeshan
Yes it seems logic to me.. how long should one wait? Or how much content should one get before starting backlinking?
