I like 1 way link, if you are after 2 or 3 then people wheel them so they do not interlink to one another. 1 links to 2, 2 links to 3, and 3 links back to 1. But, nothing is perfect play around with it.
2-way or 3-way, it doesn't really matter, it's still an exchange. Google can easily identify 3-way link exchanges, so don't believe the hype about how 3-way link exchanges are better. They aren't. About link exchanges in general... they do work, but there are much better ways to build links and much more effective ways to improve rankings. The absolute best links currently seem to be one-way editorial links from high-authority sites. If you can get these links, it doesn't matter what technique you use. It's all about efficiency and effectiveness.
Two way links just annihilate each other in the eyes of Google. Three way links don't work that well anymore. Go for real one way links.
This person can't be much of a seo person! Posting in wrong forum! Just spam! Which really is the goal of most so called seo experts who show up on dp!
this goes to the heart of seo and you can see that everyone has a strong opinion here. So here is mine - I only try to do two way links (reciprocal) with same industry sites. I include these on a links page. They are good for getting a site going, but incredibly hard to get after a certain level (people just don't read emails anymore). People say google discounts them, but I have had great success with them (what you should understand is that two way links with appropriate sites are hard to get, so seo experts will say they are of no value (as they cant make a buck out of them). Three way links? Yes if you can play some kind of ring (or link wheel) they may have some kind of value, but I haven't benefited from this practice. One way links are definitely preferred, when it is a heavy hitter in your industry or an authority site pointing to the page you want. Good luck with that. So the average joe and joe-ess tend to do one way link posts on blogs forums and FB. We do this because this is what we can quickly do ourselves without too much hassle. But of course you are posting on a page with many other people, which dilutes the link juice accordingly. And of course we can only guess what benefit each forum site post gives us. The value of this forum of course is that we can also learn something and get warm fuzzies from contributing, rather then just lamely dropping our link (well most of us can).
Google has the algorithm to catch the two way links. As per my knowledge if there is so many three way links then Google can catch it. So these are the old techniques and now it will not work more. Still you want to do it then three way linking is better than previous one. Two way link exchange can harm you and chances of excluding from index is very high. Don't do this.
