Google Suggest Me this

you wouldnt get banned if you refuse to add the ads, this is just a suggestion from adsense

It's not hard to follow Adsense rule, just put your ads like they want.

 

i think you should follow their sugesstions to increase your earnings

google gives us everyday a new suggestion.. LOL

 

i followed that suggestion and earnings suddenly drops.

 

Well as lifeplayer suggested, it completely is your decision whether to put up more ads or just stick to what you have right now. However if you are not making enough by adsense ads, then I would advice you to give it a try and change some ads with banner ads in different sizes. Not because you have received a mail from them, but to just make a change in the way your site appears to your viewers
