Typical. Just illustrates my point At least you don't have to watch overweight fatso's in spandex and silly costumes. Joking aside, whilst the Super Bowl did bore me to death last year, I did go watch many of the Amsterdam Admirals' games and found them quite exciting (cheerleaders may have influenced it a bit).
First of all, the Superbowl is usually the worst football game of the season. Second, the Amsterdam Admirals are not a real NFL team. Those NFL Euro teams are a joke. Even the Canadian football league is better!
I thought most NFLE players were there on assignment from their NFL teams and be brought back if the team wants them. It's essentially the NFL farm system. Bucs assign 7-10 players there each season, I know that.
WLAF - that's about right. But whatever, those Euro's don't know the difference anyway. They announced that Mike Brown is now out for the remainder of the season. He missed a bunch of games last season and the season before. The Bears give up an average of 55 more yards when he doesn't play. Hopefully Todd Johnson can step up this year!
Injury prone seems like the label that is going to come up soon. If the bears didn't pull anyone off the wire before the trade deadline, they must be confident enough in him. I think the Bears are definitely playoff bound no matter what; after that it all depends on if they can follow through or not.
He's definitely prone. He just plays too hard and his body can't keep up. Some guys can get away with it....others can't. It's disappointing- he's real fun to watch and really helped the rest of the secondary. And now he'll probably retire or get traded. But the Bears aren't in too bad of shape. They have three SS and three FS. And Chris Harris is pretty good. Bye week 7 couldn't have come a better time.
ok, is it really a bye this time for the Bears? ------------- What's good on Sunday - I'm dialed into Monday night and that's about it, NYG @ Cowboys
Bucs v Eagles this weekend! If the Bucs win, I'll take my bag off! Happy days! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmDRlLr195o 2002 NFC Championship game! Bears really have a bye-week.
Yep, 1pm. Not sure of the coverage area, though. Here it is. Brutal. Nowhere but FL and Pennsylvania get the game. As long as its not on CBS, I'm happy.
that is an awesome map! yikes. TB is the only one worth watching IMO. CAR/CIN = PU and of course since the Boys aren't playing I'm sure get a nice little treat after the game like bull riding or ice skating
Green Bay & Miami? WTF! That game should only be shown in GB and MIA. Oh well, I only watch Da Bears anyway.
***IF that!!!! at least the games at the end of the season won't blow...networks have a right to broadcast the more interesting match-ups as I understand?
