    Hey all,

I'm currently working on a new site and I need a little help. I'm creating the template myself from scratch and I've got something coming along, but I was wondering if it was possible to place 2 wordpress blogs on the homepage of my site.

Basically I want 2 wordpress blogs on the same page... iframes?

The easiest way is to grab the post using RSS. The long way is to create your own db query depends on what u want to show there.

what exactly do you mean two blogs, do you mean two blogs on the same url or both on the exact same page that is viewed?

On the homepage, I would like a blog on the one side related to my site and then on the other side, a blog related to a certain industry.

Well that would ofcourse that would mean a hell lot of work! The theme alone wouldn't help you do this, the wordpress core would have to be edited and so will the database!

Your best bet instead would be to use the Sideblog plugin here, this will help you keep aside text.

See the demo and download the plugin here,

    Cheers,

I agree with the second post made to this thread. XML will be the easiest way to go.
Secondly, do you own both these blogs?
If no, then XML is the only way to go.
If you own both these and can connect to MYSQL from same server, you can also pull the posts from database and display them.
    Bye :)

You can also use a different CMS like B2Evolution. That one allows you to have side bar items to be anything you want: one blog, 2 blogs, whatever. Then you set the main page to display, say, "mainblog" as your main text area and another blog as a side one. Its customizable to any degree you'd like. b2evolution.net
