Dofollow Search Engines, Do They Work?

I have tried out a couple of "dofollow search engines" and most of the results are nofollow. I'm hunting for the blogs that are dofollow so i can get some relevant, quality backlinks. Does anyone know of free dofollow search engines that actually work?

Don't worry about do follow links. They ONLY INCREASE PAGERANK, and pagerank is JUST A NUMBER! Both do follow and no follow links give you "link juice" to rank higher in search engines.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know that, i thought that the search engines saw "nofollow" as the site not necessarily approving of the site recommendation.

Yes, I am agree with the answers that nofollow links are also valuable, because they are only useless for search engine robots but useful to get traffic on website.

What matters is the theme of the web site you're getting back link, Whether a no follow or do follow. Link should be originated from a relevant theme site..

I agree they do work but it's not as value as it used to be in the past with follow link

Instead of dofollow search engines, you should better check for footprints. Google can be used as standalone search engine to find dofollow sites. All you need is little more work, study and devotion instead of looking for short cut methods.

The No Follow HTML attribute: rel="nofollow" was another one of Google's creations, they have so many don't they? No Follow simply tells search engine spiders that the link with the No Follow atribute should not be followed, and the link should not affect the PR(page rank) of the site it is going to.

Some would say that page rank is no longer as important as in the past, it still holds some clout, but not near as much as before. In the past It told the search engine how important a site is over others, determining high search engine rank for some, and low ranks for others. Backlinks affect websites because the more quality backlinks, the more important a search engine values a page. But, Google added in a little fine print that said the backlink only provided value if it was a Do Follow link. No Follow links are worthless as far as Google is concerned and are not to be considered as part of the equation.

In my personal opinion, if backlink is no follow but relevant, it often clicks.

actually no follow links are of no good for page rank but they can give you visitors. by linking with those sites you get the opportunity to divert their visitors to your site.
in this case PS is not very important at all.
