Hello, I was using LogicStorage.com as my host, their hosting account is suspended, so ultimately all my sites there are suspended.. 3 days have past, what should i do.. I dont have backups My sites are down from 3 days! I contact their support but no reply from them.. I can access the cPanel url, but cant login, it says Login Attempt Failed! i.e login details invalid, whereas i am putting 100% correct details. What should i do now? Any suggestions?
You're obviously going to need to change hosts. This just proves the very important lesson that you MUST have your own backups at all times. Hosts go down all the time, and if you don't have your own backups, you are in trouble.
I am of course going to change host now, its ridiculous hosting. But what to do now? should i wait for to get it fixed by them?
Why would you wait? Change hosts, start rebuilding your site, and if they ever come back, you might be able to get a backup of your site. I'm pretty sure LogicStorage just has a reseller account with HostNine (www.hostnine.com). You might want to ask them if they have access to your data, but usually, the upstream providers will not help out in cases like this. On a side note, if you were hosting the site in your signature (which is also suspended, so I'm guessing that's the one), and assuming you do not own the copyright/distribution rights for the "millions of MP3's", your site was in violation of the upstream provider's Terms of Service. If LogicStorage was hosting a lot of sites like that, it's no wonder their account was suspended.
make sure not to register your domain with the hosting company. Always do that with a 3rd party register, then have control over the names.
Even if your site is suspended due to overloading or tech issues, than you ask them for backup of your sites, and any good host will provide you backup in that case, for you to move on. But sites were suspended due to payment issue, than you need talk to them and get payments cleared to get your site up
I think you misunderstood. His host was suspended, not particularly his site. The upstream provider simply suspended the reseller and all his clients (the OP included).
yes I did not notice that, sorry about that. Its risk of buying hosting from a reseller and I doubt the main host will even disclose or help anything directly, so you have only way to contact person who you bought hosting from and try to resolve the issue
I am not distributing mp3's. There are just for listening, powered by youtube and 100% legal. I'll be using new hosting now, but its a blow for, i had two blogs hosted with them as well.. Plus i wont get a support reply from them. Thats really annoying!
