Feedback Congratulations DP!

Just wanted to say congratulations to Digital Point Forums for setting the following milestones in the past few days!

- 15 million posts.
- 2 million threads.
- 450,000 user registrations.

As I'm sure you'll all agree, these are fantastic achievements for any forum, and especially for DP since the utmost quality posts are required here.

Congratulations to the Administrators, Moderators and everyone else involved in some way with building DP to the top!

By the way, is DP the biggest forum for developers?

Digital Point is the biggest webmaster resource forum on the internet. By my research, in terms of posts, DP is around the 150th most active forum in the world. Now, that is impressive. By how many posts are made per day on DP, it is around the 40th largest forum on the internet, by my calculations. If all the forums I recorded continue developing at their current rate, DP will be the 100th most active forum in terms of posts in the world within the next 8 or 9 months.

While we're sucking up, I think I will too: Hey, congratulations DP. Indeed there is a wealth of information here. Congrats on a new milestone and keep up the great work!

I actually think they might be the largest in the whole universe. By my calculations, if you take the distance from the sun and divide it by the number of times the earth rotates per year, I think you'll find that indeed, Digital Point is the best forum of all time.

Of course I'm just kidding around. Congratulations again on a wonderful, wonderful forum! I'm thoroughly enjoying my short time here and am learning so much. Thanks for all your hard work in maintaining this place and keeping everybody in line. You guys have done a great job!

 

Lol, sucking up FTW. No, I wasn't sucking up, but informing members of an achievement.

And it's not the biggest forum of all time, there are plenty that are bigger. But it is indeed one of the most active sites, and will be even more active with a few more members or members posting more often. If everyone on this forum posted 1 more time than they do now, DP would be the 2nd most active forum in the world. Unfortunately, 450,000 people posting once a day will never happen.

 

Of course you weren't. A fine upstanding person such as yourself would have no need to suck up to anyone. Only insecure people do that. I was just playing around and having fun with you.

Well, I'll certainly do my part to contribute to this outstanding forum.

That's a nice achievement indeed Unfortunately still a lot needs changes, but it should be fine one day I guess.

 

Yes, Shawn pays me $500 a month to sing constant praises about DP and make him, the Moderators, and all of the members very happy. I also lick his ass every night. Lol.

in the end he will probably need more then one theropy session....
