    If you are using Mozila FF then SEO Doctor, Search Status and Firebug these are the good plugins to add.

    WP has some great free ones.....I don't know if that applies to you. Just search SEO and filter by popularity.

    I think seo doctor is the best. SEO book offers a free (with upsels for some features of course) toolbar which will give you inlinks and other useful site stats.
