Please review my new UK Finance site Mungo Money.

Its a site aimed at the broad UK finance market and anyone looking for UK credit cards, personal loans and savings accounts.

Its been live for a few months.

Its unique selling point is that it covers the most popular products, displays them in an easy to understand format AND allows uers to add their very own star rating (Please feel free to add your own as part of the review!).

Would you like opinions on:

SEO of the site.
Overall look and feel of the site
Usability of the site.

Additional features you'd like to see.

Nice web 2.0 layout The links at the top were a bit out of line in firefox but overall 8/10 Did you design it?

 

Damn,simple and cool...you do great job on mixed pages design.But I dont like cartoon girl in footer

Yes, i did design and build it myself - something of a hobby!

The text shouldnt be white on white, more light grey on white!

Im doing that for a usability and SEO point of view. Usability:the text in light grey is not necessary to read but useful to be there. SEO, extra related text for my pages.

So ho about SEO, usability? Did you guys like it?

 

I really wouldnt recommend on having text on a page for SEO purposes over reading for your visitors. The content on your page should be for your visitor and looking at the text I cant see why you wouldnt have it the same colour.

Its a nice site, fast loading and easy to use. I just have a major issue with that blended text that I mentioned, it could end up back firing on you.

 

I agree, i would change the colour of the blended text or remove it.

 

Like it, especially the mouseover buttons for each of the account plans.

If anything perhaps make the top menu stretch across the page?

 

You should make two columns, also get some more content in there.
