I took free hosting by hostable which is part of their ongoing promotion...They just charge $1 for credit card verification. Anyway the ip that they provided 204.152.255.19 is blacklisted at blackholes.five-ten-sg.com
I asked them to create another account on some other ip but they are unable to help...terrible support

Is it risky to put websites here ? or is it something not to worry much about considering that its just one blacklist which has higher ratio of false positives? This ip is not blacklisted anywhere else.

    I used http://whatismyipaddress.com/blacklist-check

    Thanks

It shouldn't cause any problems, but it's not good that they won't provide you with another IP, I think that's a perfectly reasonable request.

Its not free hosting like always free hosting. Its their limited time offer. They are a new company trying to create a brand and name for themselves in the market. They also charge $1 for verification. So, they really should provide support like other professional web hosting companies, if they really want us to stick with them and pay for hosting on next due date.

Terrible support is a huge backdraw of free hosting, and it can be their tactics to black list your IP by them selves to make you pay. Free hosting can never be reliable because "You get what you pay for".

If you are really serious about this hosting business, you must go with a reliable paid provider for best results.

Do not host your website on a blacklisted IP.

    Reasons:
    ---------------
You out going mails can be marked as spam.
Hotmail / yahoo / gamil may not accept mail from your domain name.
    and many more like this...
