    Hi,

Finally paypal implemented new set of rules for Indian users. In short, these are the restrictions.

    1. We can't use the paypal balance anymore...we have to withdraw within 7 days once you receive the payments from your clients or others.

    2. We can't receive more than $500

    3. Ofcourse you can send money to others by using Credit Card linked to your paypal account.

Certainly there is some loss due to exchange rates but we need to face these suppose if you need to continue some more time at online business.

It's is very hard to get CC for freelancers but there is option to get CC through Fixed Deposits.

One of the best banks to get CC is http://www.icicibank.com/Personal-Banking/cards/Consumer-Cards/Credit-Card/eligibility-fees.html

For Rs. 20,000 FD - you will get around 85% Credit Limit.

You can add this CC to your Paypal account and send money to others.

    Another Option:

You can also open a Savings Account in HDFC bank and you can create virtual cards in Indian rupees through online.

For more details check out this: http://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/payments/netsafe/netsafe.htm

At present these are the best ways to send money to others or to buy online products/services.

    Cheers,

    Jack

You have to create a VCC from logging into your netsafe account, then you create a VCC card of the amount you are going to pay, then your VCC gets created. Then log into your paypal amount ad credit card enter details of vcc and you are done to make a payment online.
