Need help about hosting?

    Hello,

    i have a hosting in godaddy and i want to share this my hosting with my friends e.x. i want give 5gb to my friend so how i create a seprate account for him which is have seprate ftp etc...... please help me & let me know the step by step..



    iff u share me the screenshots so i really thankful to you....

    Thanks for your reply..... i have create ftp account but i hav'nt 150gb and share only 5gb so how can i lock him if he gone above....

    I'm pretty sure you can't. What you're really looking for is reseller hosting, where you can give separate control panel logins, etc., and enforce quotas.

    Ummi, to my knowledge, I am not aware of limiting storage to a particular FTP account in GoDaddy hosting platform. However, this can however be done if you are using cPanel platform.

    Godaddy's regular shared hosting plans do not provide the means to set quotas the way you require. You would need a reseller account in order to set quotas on a per-user basis.

    You should contact Godaddy and I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.
