    What if the VCC is refillable...like entropay or icici b2 account e-wallet...and we always keep enough balance in VCC for any chargebacks...it should work. shouldn't it?

    I haven't tried yet...I am yet to receive VCC(e-wallet) in my ICICI b2 account...my account is verified with a bank account. Customer care said it'll work. It should work if it can be used to verify paypal, its not one-time use VCC, its refillable, its a visa card. If it doesn't work, then credit card is the only option. SBI offering advantage credit card against Rs 20,000 FD and ICICI also as you said.

    Ok...update on this...it worked like a charm...icici b2 account e-wallet...it worked and I used it to become premium dp member using paypal and money was debited from e-wallet!! Always keep rs 3000 minimum balance in ewallet...no need of credit cards if you are in one of the big cities where b2 account can be opened. Its a zero balance account!:)

    Okay, here is something more interesting I found today :

    Made a vcc from hdfc account of Rs. 150, needed to pay Rs. 137 to some other person (US)

    Attached to paypal but didnt confirmed.

    Paid successfully :)

    hey,will you please elaborate a bit? It seems to be interested and easy. Do i need to open account in ICICI first and then apply for ICICI b2 account and then aaply for VCCC(e-wallet) how much they charge to open account?

    No need of any ICICI account or visiting any branch

    They will contact you within a day or two and take documents copy of photo id and address proof...they will come to your address for collecting documents and taking your signatures on a form... within 10-15 days your account will be live...within ten days of that you get ewallet in your account ...and it works like a regular credit card and this account is zero balance...

    Ok...I noticed apply here link is not working...From a month, they are facing technical problems..... may be they are getting too many requests because of this paypal problem...thats why it took a month to get my account working after submitting docs...

    Every unused balance is always returned to your fd account after 35 days. 35 days dont bother me much.
