Hi there. I'm just interested to know who here sees a future in online comminuties / modelling said community or forum. I'm looking into launching a new forum (although there would be other things invlolved for the members too - not that I want to give too much away right now) But I'm looking for a partner who might be interested in this? I love forums, however they are difficult to make money from. Is your primary interest in making money from your site, or something else?
There are plenty of forums on Linux already. How will yours be different? Getting development help such as buying quality forum posts might help in getting it started, but even then it is difficult to make profit quickly.
For starters I've many successful communities. As I said I'm not going to divulge much information on here. But this 'community' will go far beyond just a forum. And no, it will be a non-profit venture. Really I'm just looking for interested parties.
