Is giving away a free report still a good traffic generating method. I have a free report that I’m distributing that to me could be helpful, but no replies or response. Why???? Take a look at presentation if you like ( Must use Mozilla Firefox to open report) at http://alturl.com/xbhx9
Hi thanks for the reply. Spammer ??? Just trying to understand. By giving away a free report will be consider Spamming.
I'm too lazy to even look at your "report". All I know is, just about everyone who gives away a "free report" is trying to promote something or build a list. You have all of 7 posts on this forum, why should we believe you are doing anything other than promoting yourself?
Stop all these MMO shit plz. If you have this powerful software, just keep it to yourself. Make your own money and buy your dream house and luxury car. When i see this type of FXXXing website, the first thing i do is to close it without even reading a single word.
i have to agree with lqbk. while there are some "reports" or "products" that can be useful it is typically the last attempt by marketers to gain something from something that they are no longer gaining from themselves.
Thanks again. I’m not here to spam. I’m here for the help and advice to become a better clickbank affiliate. To me trying to spam at a clickbank forum is like preaching to the choir. Not asking to look at the report, just the subject of giving away a report a good or bad method. Thanks again for your help.
hi eclicman. i dont think dlm and lqbk meant any harm when they referenced the word "spammer". i think they where simply stating that they dont accept free reports because they smell spammer when they see them. just because they dont go for "free reports" doesn't mean others wont. when you provide a bonus or giveaway like something for free you are doing what is called "incentive marketing". incentives have been used for years to promote products and services. even before the days of the internet. remember the free coffee mug or t shirt a bank would give you if you applied for their credit card or opened an account with them? giving away a free report is the same thing. incentives do help to increase conversion rates however no incentive was ever a substitute for visiblity. if people aren't seeing your offer or creative then there is no one to give the "free report" too. i think you should continue to offer the "free report" but focus more of your attention on driving traffic to your "free report" page. i am not sure what you are trying to accomplish with providing a free report (sales, list build) but incentives typically do not provide dramatic results (unless you are giving away a big screen tv or an iphone 4 to someone simply for their email address) however they do provide some boost in conversions.
Majority of free reports are just useless or at best incomplete...because it has become a free promotional material leading supposedly to revenues.
Wait guys! Am i missing something? With all the controversies and I'm already in the middle of nowhere. You see guys. As i type these words. I'm working on a free report which i intend to use in promoting a products sales page. But, all these things you guys are arguing about is making me wonder if i should abandon my project. Is it really wrong to create a free report? Again, i will love to know other ways to promote this product. I wrote a sales page for it. but i don't have any follower or list. I've been online for long but I've not been lucky in getting a real network. how can i legitimately sell without staring resentment? I will really love your answers. Thank you all for your replies in anticipation.
Yes giving a free report will help you but you should have matter that is relevant to the product that you are going to sell and show people that using your product will save them time and money.
There will always be people out there who will opt-in to the list. Always money to be made in the list. Have you followup by broadcasting messages to people on your list?
If your free report is related to what you want to promote after you've captured the leads it can actually be very profitable. Note that MMO is not a niche so giving away a free report about clickbank while trying to sell a product about Amazon afterwards is probably not going to work.
