Seems a little quiet in here. Major things are happening in our government. Republicans are making big moves but no one seems to want to talk about them :( Wonder why not...

Paul Ryan's plan has sparked some pushback even from conservative Republicans who, apparently, aren't as stupid/in their pocket as House Republicans once thought?

But is it warranted? Is the President lying when he says people under the age of 55 are going to lose their rock solid medicare/medicaid for an $11k voucher that is pretty much worthless if you have a pre-existing condition? (that is if you still want that old pesky Obama healthcare reform abolished)

What do you think about the roadmap?

Paul Ryan is a smart guy. I'm sure his legislation needs some tweaks, but hes the only guy I see putting out proposals to address the much larger issue at hand. Seniors without healthcare are going to be the least of our worries when our credit rating drops in two years, and its time we all come to grips with that.

Personally, I'd be happy to see someone close whatever tax loophole it is that allows Google to pay an effective rate of 2.4% in federal taxes on its hefty profits. I don't see anyone from either party taking up that mantle.
