Site promotions

Hi, I am new into websites. I want to know about site promoting methods, I have a site on men's health and drugs. I know just two methods: Article submissions and forums posting..


I have read people talking about links from PR 4 PR 5 sites and more PR sites too. I have submiited articles to sites with PR 6 but when my article is submiited there's no PR of that page on which my article is..... I want to know if there's any relevance of article submission?

I started posting my link on forums sites but got banned... I find this really slow and need advise. Please help, there have been no sales from two months. My site is on page 5 and page 3 of google with two different keywords. I get disappointed at times being naive I don't know how to promote and are they really working if I do? Please advise.

You could try promoting your links on twitter/facebook - then also, forum signatures - and also blog posts; write content for other people, and link to your site, why? it'll help your SEO campaign - and will get you ranked higher.

Is all your content unique? Then you should promote on men's forums, or men's blogs = win, because that's the type of audience you're attracting - you can also go to bar - and promote your site on business cards.
