I have created a site, its been up since March. I would like a review from experts on this site. First let me give you some information about it. I designed the site myself. Did all the work myself for the posts. The site is based on funny Picture. I'd like to know what you think of the site in terms of SEO, design and content. Any type of criticism is appreciated. Perhaps you created this project to earn from advertising. I think you need to develop a project long before you turn it into an additional source of money. In many important places in your site put ads instead to put a useful text to be indexed. Try to create interesting,fresh and valuable descriptions of videos, otherwise you'll never see the light of day
Looks bad from the SEO point of view - only images, and almost all the text (hardly anything) you have is advertising. Search engines will never find out what your site is about, and even human visitors will have trouble identifying what it's all about. Navigation is not evident either. And you have far too much advertising, it overwhelms the visitor. IMHO, this will never rank #1 on any search engine, it does not qualify as "useful content". I'd recommend at the very least some text on all pages, plus descriptions of the gifs, just to get text. Also reduce the advertising. Even so, I wonder how you are going to target specific keywords to rank in the SERPs when you have no text at all.
Is this whole thread perhaps a link building exercise? Create a terrible website, ask opinions, get a text rich page where your link is near the top ... Or am I too cynical?
