Hi, first if this is the wrong section my apologies, please feel free to move it, just don't know where it'd go..... I have a website domain with six letters, 2 words at 3 letters a piece. The site is aimed at getting laws changed, while also appealing to a much bigger demographic of regular visitors. Therefore everyone from politicians to parents to young people will be visiting it. The problem I've been running into inside my head for weeks is what way to go with the banner/theme. Like twitter is not Facebook which is not Google whish is not RSS. All have very easy names and little square icons to link back to their site. Let's say my domain is RxxHxx do I make it like that or more casual like rxxhxx or more dominant/fun RXXHXX ? I can get a cool looking square clickable link/emblem/button using rh as opposed to RH (I'm simply using the first two letters of the 2 words) I'm really lost as to what way to go with it. The R will be purple and the H will be green. I feel going to all CAPITALS will annoy people/intimidate them, though going lowercase may be too casual for the 'politicians' and what have you. And if I go with RxxHxx then I feel that's annoying the mainstream people and it doesn't look right on the button. My heart says rxxhxx Can I pull off a big company/organisation with all lowercase letters though? Thoughts/ideas/opinions/suggestions? As you can see I'm in a real pickle.
Do you think RxpHxx looks more professional? Would you still visit the site if it was rxxhxx? Can a site be too 'hoity toity' with it's name and off put people?
