Paypal forcing me to add CC to my Account Today to withdraw my Paypal Amount to Bank

    Hai Folks,

    I am really fed up with this Paypal.

    Today i tried to withdraw about 47$ from my paypal account to my bank account as it the only available option in paypal for Indian Customers.

    But as soon as i clicked the Submit Button I got shocked to see the msg that "Your account has been limited"

    For resolving that issue they gave a link. I clicked and found some information.

    As mentioned above i changed my password and security questions.

    But why they are asking Credit Card Details for this issue?

    Why they are forcing me to add a CC?

    Now i dont have CC and dont know what to do to get back my amt from paypal to bank.

    Any suggestions plz.

    The same thing happened with me ...... My account was limited due to the same reason as yours....but now its reinstated back after completing the required tasks

    I think Paypal systems detected as if someone else has logged into your account and performed transactions. You should contact Paypal support team.

    No dude. On that particular day i have added one more Bank account. If there is any hacking login attempts then then can ask me to change the pwd and security questions. thats right. But why they are asking me to fill Credit Card Details which i dont have? that is my question.

    I have Face the same problem..
    But i Reinstate my account without Add CC..
    Because i am from india and i can't get Credit card easily..
    So I Send a Request email to Paypal resolution center and they Reinstate my account..
    All you need to send an email to Paypal Resolution center...

    My Problem Happened Because i check My Paypal account in Opera Mobile Browser so Paypal detects A Norway user
    Was Logged on to My Account so they Limited My Account..
    So I notify paypal that i had Logged on My account from Mobile Device and There Is no unusual activities was happened..
    Then Paypal Reinstate my account..
    So first check your previous login details and Send Request..

    Same thing happened to me when i was in India
    I ringed up them and they asked few questions and removed my limitation without adding up any card hope so

    Ya i have already sent a mail with my Case ID to Paypal Team. Hope this will solve my issue. Waiting for their reply.

    I have added my debit card but was unable to confirm it .... so I contacted paypal regarding this issue ... and the other day I received an email stating that my account has been reinstated

    So Here it goes.

    I made a call to the Paypal Customer and the problem got resolved in 5 min after they asked some questions about my paypal account. thanks for all your reply guys. Hope if any one gets a problem like me can contact the Paypal Customer and your problem too will get sorted out soon

    Dont worry dude just do two things 1 ) change your password 2 ) change your security question 3) Credit Card ? Dont worry leave it and just submit a support ticket regarding your problem and tell then that your account is ok and you have checked all transactions everything is OK. they will review your account and reset account within 2 days. i had this problem several times and never added my CC.

    Hope this will work.... for you also...

    PayPal is the largest online payment processor in the world. They deal with millions of people. The rules are the same for everyone that live in a particular country. Its a good idea to add a credit card and verify yourself. You can get both buyer and seller protection with verified accounts. If the bank will not give you a CC, then go buy a prepaid credit card. They are a great feature to use online anyway. You load the money on them first. You can never be out more than what is loaded on it. Not tied into your bank account. Asian people should be using Alipay anyway. Its their equivalent of PayPal.

    I have been limited a number of times for address changes associated with moving etc. but if you just deliver what they ask they will get it cleared RIGHT up. I remember calling their customer service dept. to tell them it was gonna be longer than expected for me to be able to deliver the id they were asking for and they extended the deadline no questions asked.

    Don't worry, you can call them and say that you can only send the "bank account statement" as you have no credit card.

    It would be great if you share PayPal's "Customer Support" number.
    on PayPal's website, the number they have provided is a U.S based number
    did you tried contacting them on the same or have you tried a different one?
    i would be glad to see if they have a local number for Indian customers

    I called to their US number only dude. They did not provide me any Indian contact No.

    And it took about 5 min with my call. So no other way. we have to spend money to the US no. :(

    Thanks for your valuable information dude. Let me try with the prepaid credit card. Also i would like to know that if i get a CC from ICICI will they charge me for not using the CC. Or Is there is any extra amount that we have to pay for using some amount. Like some additional tax etc.
