What would be best CMS for a portale site???

    I'M IN NEED of creating a portal site there I am going to entertainment related things..
    Can anyone suggest me a good powerful Portal CMS?? which does have good themes as well.

    Joomla has lots of nice, free themes. It has some great plugins too.

    Joomla is not a good suggestion for a portal. Liferay is far better. Full list of systems can be found here: CMS List

    Liferay is Java based. I would recommend PHP based solutions unless you really want to work with the complexity of java environment.

    There's Drupal. They won some awards and they have good looking templates. Personally I dont like using CMS.

    Drupal has many wonderful features. However they're are poor at templates in comparison to wordpress.

    I used to like PHP Nuke, but yea I would rather pick Joomla over PHP Nuke.
