I plan on renting out ad space on my website. Should I do this as an individual or as a company?

This completely depends on the amount of money you think you'll earn, and if your accountant suggests doing it away from your personal accounts for tax reasons.

If I had to guess, I'd say you won't be earning enough to cause issues and a personal intake wouldn't hurt. It would be best to consult with your accountant, however.

If you charge for a service or goods you are classed as a business. You can still be an individual. I run a business under my personal name.

Doesn't matter how much you earn, it still is a business.

I advertise space as a company after I get my sites ranking well.
