    How to record TV programs on my PC ?

    I am using Intex External TV Tuner (LCD SKYVIEW IT-191) and i am having windows XP on my PC.

    Can anyone guide me further ??

    I heard that we can do it by some kind of recording software but don't know which software :confused:

    MediaPortal might work, check requirements... (requires sp3, doesn't work with xp 64bit, supports all analog TV cards with hardware MPEG-2 encoder and all digital TV cards which use BDA-drivers)

    Have you tried getting the internal TV tuner card, maybe use composite cables or just simply using windows media player/center (not sure if it would work or not with the second suggestion but thought I'd throw it out there)?

    Well, I have heard about it but its possible via internal TV tuners only. So, may be buy one with recording facility.

    I don't think you'll be able to get it working unless you run it into a capture card.
    If you really want to use your external tuner, you could get an EasyCap from DX and run your tuner into that, then into your PC.

    It's a clunky way of doing it though.

    It would be way better to get a dedicated USB or internal TV tuner card for your PC.

    External TV Tuner have not recording option. Plz replace your External TV Tuner to Internal TV Tuner. I am use Internal TV Tuner and record any programs.
