I agree with Wywkyle. That's how we start email marketing. You first need to gain some knowledge about it then you can start.
Remember as well, big lists are great assets... but smaller lists full of TARGETED traffic are where the money really is at.
Your best bet is to create an *opt-in* email list. You can just give people the option on your website of suscribing or you can put a check box with the order process on your site. As people opt-in you send them confirmation (this can be autmated). Eventually your list will grow and you can begin sending things out.
