Ubermedia has purchased Mixx.com.

I hope the new changes will be user-friendly and make the site more good for users.

I like it more than Digg

 

I am more into Reddit.

 

this is terrible. Mixx and propeller closed, I just hope that there are some replacements..

 

Mixx will be back, while propeller i think it is aolnews now.

I strongly encourage using Reddit. It helped me index a blog on google in about two days.

Oh, and you can subscribe to be announced when it re-opens.

 

I hope mixx is not closed. Because I got a lot of benefits from it. such as my blog indexed quickly in search engine.

I also like Reddit but the thing I don't like about it is the option to "downvote" the posts.

I understand it is to keep the spam posts away from the main page but sometime your competitor also downvote your posts and the article / post you worked hard to write and submit - you get bad impression about it on reddit

Actually I think it is a good thing, downvotes I mean. Because reddit is not only about sending your stuff there, but sending quality stuff and make friends. And if you send quality stuff and have lots of friends, your content is going to be voted up. Don't you think ?

Mixx has been closed to new members for some time now,, maybe even a couple of months as far as I know.

Hopefully, mixx will re-open pretty soon, I have been a member there for maybe 2 years? Is one of the easiest and best social bookmarking sites around.
